SHAH ALAM, Dec 14 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has announced his family has tested positive for Covid-19.
He said his wife Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad and their two children, tested positive for the virus yesterday.
Amirudin also underwent a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, which turned out negative.
“Nonetheless, I will continue to undergo temporary self-quarantine while waiting for the result of the second PCR test on Thursday, and will provide further updates,” he said in a brief statement.
The Menteri Besar apologised for any inconvenience caused, and asked the public to pray for the health and strength of his family.
