Air Selangor: Water supply fully restored in Petaling, Klang

SHAH ALAM, Feb 26 — Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said that the water supply for all areas in Petaling and Klang regions, which were affected by the unscheduled water cut yesterday, have fully recovered.

In a statement today, Air Selangor said the water restoration process was completed at 6am today.

“Air Selangor would like to thank the consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption period,” the statement read.

Yesterday, 41 areas in Petaling and Klang were hit by an unscheduled water supply cut due to repair works on electrical system failure at the pump house in Bukit Jelutong U8, Shah Alam.

The repair works were completed at 1.30pm yesterday, an hour earlier than scheduled and the water supply was restored in stages.
