Water supply resumed to 13 areas in KL, to be fully restored by 4am

SHAH ALAM, March 11 — Water supply to 13 areas in Kuala Lumpur that was temporarily disrupted due to a burst pipe in Jalan Kuari, Kg Cheras Baru, was resumed at 10.30am today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said the water supply is expected to be fully recovered at 4am tomorrow (March 12).

“The water supply recovery period differs from one area to another according to the location and distance of consumers’ premises.

Yesterday, Air Selangor announced that a burst pipe incident has occurred at Jalan Kuari, Kampung Cheras Baru, at 8.45pm, and repair work was completed at 4:15am today.

The incident caused unscheduled water disruption in Taman Muda, Taman Bukit Permai, Taman Bukit Pandan, Kampung Cheras Baru, Taman Mawar, Taman Seraya, Taman Mega, Taman Bukit Teratai, Taman Melur, Taman Saga, Taman Putra, Taman Mewah and Taman Mestika.
