SHAH ALAM, July 17 — The most votes were cast for Simpang Renggam MP Dr Maszlee Malik in the PKR election for the 20 central leadership council positions for the for the 2022/2025 term.
On the second day of the 16th PKR National Congress yesterday, 1,091 votes were cast in favour of the former education minister.
The PKR Election Committee (JPP) had also announced actor-producer Datuk Gerald Hans Isaac and Selangor state executive councillor for environment Hee Loy Sian were song those voted into the MPP.
A total of 73 candidates contested for the 20 available posts.
