SHAH ALAM, July 12 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has asked the public to apply for the Air Darul Ehsan Scheme so they can enjoy free water if they have not already done so.

He said up to 20 cubic meters of water will be provided free of charge to those who are eligible.

“This programme aimed at easing the burden of the needy. One of the programmes on the agenda is to safeguard the welfare of the people and reduce their cost of living burdens.

“The application process has also been made easier by Air Selangor, wherein applicants can do so either online or at the customer service counter,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post.

Online applications can be made at https://www.airselangor.com/residential/skim-air-darul-ehsan/.

To qualify, an applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and Selangor resident, with a household income of RM4,000 and below.

Their residential premise must be an individual meter type, with each applicant only eligible to apply for a single account.
