KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 — PKR is responsible for restoring the people’s confidence in the party’s capability at serving as a better government than before.
As such, its deputy president Rafizi Ramli said the ‘Ayuh Malaysia’ truck tour is the appropriate move towards raising more awareness among the people.
“I am certain the people will understand once it has been explained in detail, with sufficient cautioning that if things do not start now, there will be another scandal similar to the littoral combat ship (LCS) within five years from now.
“Victory and defeat are both ordained by God. After campaigning, we will leave it to the people because can reason for themselves,” he said during the launch of the truck yesterday.
Rafizi added that a survey conducted until July 31 revealed that 80 per cent of Malaysians are not satisfied with the current government.
“The study determined that only 20 per cent were satisfied, while the rest were not as they are stressed by the increasingly burdensome costs of living.
“InsyaAllah with this tour, in October or November (of this year) when the prime minister seeks to announce the general election, we will be prepared and capable of competing at our best,” he said.
