SHAH ALAM, Sept 13 — The water supply for 144 areas in the Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor region has been temporarily suspended following a burst pipe incident at 10pm last night, said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
The agency said emergency repair works at the Sungai Bernam water treatment plant (WTP) are underway.
“Air Selangor has activated the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to provide emergency water supply assistance to the affected consumers.
“A total of 81 water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas and critical premises,” it said via the Air Selangor mobile app.
