SHAH ALAM, Sept 20 — The Selangor government will give away free eyewear to Selangor Saring participants during the Jelajah Selangor Penyayang (JSP) roadshow scheduled to take place in four locations next month.

State public health advisor Dr Mohammad Farhan Rusli said the initiative would only be provided to those diagnosed with eye problems following the test.

“The roadshow will be held in four locations namely Klang, Hulu Selangor, Sepang and Sabak Bernam.

“Free eyewear will be offered to those who are found to have eye problems.

“Other than eye examination, other health screenings offered include physical checks, blood and urine tests and early detection for cancer,” he said when contacted by SelangorKini, yesterday.

Dr Farhan added that several health activities will also be held in the second phase of the roadshow.

The Selangor Saring programme ran from May 22 to September 11 and registered close to 40,000 participants across 56 constituencies with a RM3.4 million budget.
