Selangor Raja Muda pays homage to Queen Elizabeth II, signs condolence book

SHAH ALAM, September 14 — The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah today visited the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur to pay tribute and respect to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

During his visit, Tengku Amir Shah signed the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth II while witnessed by the British High Commissioner to Malaysia Charles Hay.

“On behalf of my family, His Royal Highness Sultan of Selangor and the people of Selangor, I would like to convey our deepest condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to her family and to the British people,” said His Royal Highness in a statement issued by the Selangor Royal Office on Facebook today.

Tengku Amir Shah was accompanied by Engku Panglima Setia Diraja Syed Haizam Jamalullail and Dato’ Lela Jasa Diraja Dato’ Richard Curtis.

Queen Elizabeth II, the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch, died on September 8 at her summer residence of Balmoral Castle in Scotland, at the age of 96 after 70 years on the throne.
