Flood victims in Terengganu continues to rise, three more states unchanged

SHAH ALAM, Dec 20 — The number of flood victims in Terengganu increased by 1,785, making it 38,806 people out of 10,629 families with 318 temporary relief centres (PPS) open as of 12pm.

According to the National Disaster Management Agency, the number of victims in Kelantan, Perak and Johor remained unchanged, while in Pahang there was a slight decrease.

In Kelantan, a total of 25,353 people from 6,897 families are sheltered at 133 PPS, while in Johor 53 people from 17 families are at three PPS, and in Perak 54 people from 17 families are at two PPS.

However, in Pahang, the number of victims decreased to 873 from 214 families sheltering in eight PPS.
