SHAH ALAM, Jan 13 — The Selayang Municipal Council has provided 10 Roll-On-Roll-Off (RoRo) bins in 10 locations to help people dispose of bulk garbage, electrical waste (e-waste) and furniture, for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.
It said the ‘Spring Cleaning’ initiative will be carried out with KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM), starting today until Sunday (January 15).
“This is a continuous programme in conjunction with festive seasons, to help people dispose of bulk garbage, e-waste and old furniture into the RoRo bins provided by MPS.
“MPS hopes residents would take advantage of the facilities and help to ensure the surrounding areas remain clean and conducive,” the council said in a statement.
