SHAH ALAM, Feb 17 — Another Rumah Selangorku Idaman project has been developed in Kwasa Damansara, Kota Damansara to help residents own comfortable and quality homes.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Amirudin Shari said the construction of the affordable houses involved 4,694 units with an area of 1,000 square feet each, equipped with three bedrooms and sold at a price of RM250,000.

He said the project operated by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) together with its subsidiary Employees Provident Fund, Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd was built on a land area of 39.12 acres and is expected to be completed by 2026.

“This is the first Rumah Idaman project this year. The house is complete with infrastructure and facilities such as two parking spaces, air conditioning, water heater, kitchen cabinet, refrigerator and television.

“At the initial stages of the construction of this house in Kajang, there was an apprehension on whether we could or could not do it or that it was just a slogan or promise. Alhamdulillah (Praise God), today, trust in us is increasing. We have proven this with other similar developments,” he said during the groundbreaking ceremony for Kwasa Damansara affordable housing, here today.

Amirudin said the idea of developing houses in this category aims to improve the living conditions of residents, especially in urban areas.

“The location is also easily accessible with various facilities such as major highways, hospitals, schools, higher education centers, public transport, supermarkets and commercial centers,” he said.

Rumah Idaman was launched in 2019 with the aim of enabling people to own comfortable homes at an affordable price.

Projects have been implemented in several locations including Kajang, Bangi, Shah Alam, Cyberjaya and Semenyih.
