KLANG, Feb 8 — The third edition of Kayuhan Menjunjung Kasih (Cycle With Love) organised by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) is set for March 12 at the Bukit Raja City Sales Gallery, here.

Its president Noraini Roslan said the 50-kilometre (km) leisure ride will be accompanied by His Highness the Raja Muda of Selagor Tengku Amir Shah.

“In this edition of leisure cycling, the distance has been increased to 50km and goes through North Klang as well as South Klang compared to the 2019 edition where the distance was only 37.1km.

“The uniqueness this time is that participants will be crossing two bridges, the Raja Muda Nala Bridge and the Kota Bridge, which have their own distinctiveness and history,” she said when met after launching the Third Edition of Kayuhan Menjunjung Kasih with His Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor at the MPK headquarters, here today.

Noraini added that the participants will also pass through various tourist attraction centres and see many heritage buildings in Klang, while enjoying the view of organised infrastructure as well as the beauty of Taman Bandar Bukit Raja’s recreational parks.

The event has also received major sponsorship from Sime Darby Property (Sime Darby); Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd; Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd; Samsung Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd; Sugarbomb Group; Luqsports Performance and Recovery Center; Proton Malaysia and V-Sure.

Participation is open to individuals aged 15 and above and registration can be made by visiting the link: https://chckpointspot.asia/event/kayuhan-menjunjung-kasih-23.
