SHAH ALAM, March 16 — Selangor is offering 11 incentives to investors and developers who are involved in the Taman Perindustrian Selangor project, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said four of these incentives are offered to investors, including a fast-tracking process, approval period, assessment taxes, and business license fee exemption.

For developers and managers of industrial parks, seven are provided, which include land premiums, interest-free development charge instalments, and exemptions for the provision of low-cost factories, among others.

“We also offer real estate ownership quotas for citizens or foreign companies of permanent residents, long-term non-strata development leases, as well as land and assessment taxes.

“Incentives help to reduce the burdens of the initial development costs, and as such draws the interest of real estate developers to expedite development activities,” Amirudin said.

The Menteri Besar was speaking during the launch of the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (Idriss) at the State Secretariat Building yesterday.

Taman Perindustrian Selangor, managed industrial concept, was launched in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit in 2021.
