SHAH ALAM, April 3 — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is inviting residents in its areas to come for the Picnic Iftar Ramadan X Suria programme this coming Saturday (April 8).
It will be carried out in collaboration with radio station Suria FM, and will take place at MBPJ Section 52 Petaling Jaya, from 4pm to 10pm.
“Open meals and bubur lambuk will be prepared for the first 1,000 visitors.
“A variety of interesting events await visitors, including performances by Suria FM radio presenters Shuib, , DJ Lin, Tyzo, Rara, Cik Piah, Suraya, Anna J, and Ajak,” MBPJ said in a Facebook post.
In addition, other activities include Yasin readings, fast-breaking picnics, tazkirah, congregational Maghrib and Isyak prayers, Tarawih prayers, donations for orphans and the poor, and moreh.
The council encouraged visitors to bring their own mats for fast-breaking during Picnic Iftar Ramadan X Suria.
