PETALING JAYA, May 13 — The Petaling Jaya Parliamentary Service Centre is now open at Jalan Othman, and is prepared to help the community in need.
Its MP Lee Chean Chung said since being elected as the Dewan Rakyat in November last year, he has had no official office and serves on the move (mobile system).
“Before this, I met with the people on the move, with no effect on my work. But now, things can become more comfortable and organised.
“I selected this area as it is a strategic location since it is near Terminal Bas Jalan Othman, which can simultaneously promote public services,” he during the centre’s opening ceremony, earlier today.
The ceremony was officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and was attended by over 200 Petaling Jaya residents and community leaders.
The Petaling Jaya Parliamentary Service Center in Section 1 is open every day, starting today from 10am to 4pm.
Lee, 42, who is also PKR’s communications director, won the Petaling Jaya seat in the last election on November 19 last year, by a majority of 50,575 votes.
