SHAH ALAM, June 13 — Infrasel Sdn Bhd (Infrasel) has continued with its road repair works in Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Selangor and Banting as part of the state government’s Mega Resurfacing Project.

The state agency on Twitter stated that repair works are being carried out on Persiaran Jubli Perak in Shah Alam, Jalan Penchala, Jalan SS 26/2, and Jalan 17/27 (Petaling), Jalan Persiaran Elmina 1/1 (Kuala Selangor) and Jalan Bunga Road (Banting).

“We thank the public for contacting us on this matter. The public can also extend their complaints on the damaged roads directly to the local authorities for immediate action,” it said.

On June 7, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said that the public can now channel their complaints on damaged roads via Facebook to improve service quality for the people. The service expansion is in addition to the use of Twitter and the state road maintenance application managed by Infrasel.

Amirudin had also on May 13 said that Selangor received an additional allocation of RM2 million from the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development to repair village roads across the state.

From 2021 to last year, Infrasel carried out over 39,000 road resurfacing works in Selangor and the potholed roads are fixed within 24 hours following public complaints.
