Hijrah Selangor collects RM8.78 mln via financial recovery scheme

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, July 4 — Yayasan Hijrah Selangor has collected RM8.78 million in business loan repayments as of early this month via its credit recovery campaign.

Its operations senior assistant manager Muhammad Hafizi Jamaludin said the amount involved 1,911 entrepreneurs who obtained loans through schemes such as i-Bisnes, Zero to Hero, Niaga Darul Ehsan (NaDI), Go Digital and i-Bermusim.

“This proves the commitment of entrepreneurs to repay loans according to the scheduled repayment plan,” he said when contacted by Selangorkini.

Hafizi encouraged more entrepreneurs to join the recovery plan, especially those facing difficulties repaying their loans on time.

He said entrepreneurs interested in participating in the scheme can register at any Yayasan Hijrah Selangor office.

“Through this method, the weekly loan repayments for entrepreneurs can be reduced according to their ability,” he said.

In addition to the recovery plan, the agency is conducting a repay-and-win campaign from January 1 to December 18.

Active entrepreneurs who make loan repayments are eligible to participate in the campaign and stand to win mystery prizes worth over RM20,000.
