Shoppers happy to be able to buy many items at Jualan Ehsan Rahmah for RM50

 AMPANG JAYA, Aug 27 — Shoppers were more than satisfied with the prices at the Jualan Ehsan Rahmah (JER) event which offered a variety of basic necessities at a 30 per cent discount.

 Kamsiah Mohd Rashid, 74, a housewife, who just came to the programme  for the first time, expressed hope that the State Government will continue the sale because it can help residents save on expenses.

 Satisfied with the cheap price, bringing even RM50 can buy a lot of goods, the State Government should continue this kind of programme, the people can save money.

 “There are still many people who can’t afford it, so with this price they can buy even one or two items,” he said at the Bukit Antarabangsa State Legislative Assembly (JER) level here today.

 While the retiree, Eddie Yap, 55, also praised the quality of the goods sold besides always informing his neighbours about JER’s organisation.

 “I always bring my mother to buy chicken and fish, the items here are all fresh and the quality is also good, I also always invite my neighbours after getting information via Facebook,” he said.

 Meanwhile, housewife Sharifah Bujang, 54, expressed hope that this sale could be organised more often following the favourable response.

 “I think this programme should be held regularly or once a month and if possible, held at the beginning of the month because most residents have just received their salaries,” he said.

 The Jualan Ehsan Rahmah (JER) event was organised by Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (PKPS) offered chicken at RM10 per pack, fresh solid meat at RM10 per pack and grade B eggs at RM10 per pack, fish at RM6 per pack, five kg cooking oil at RM25 and five kg of rice at RM10.
