State polls: Traffic flow still smooth

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 — Traffic flow as of 6.30pm today on all the country’s main highways was smooth, and no unusual congestion has been reported, in conjunction with the state elections in the six states.

A spokesman for PLUS Malaysia Berhad said there were two accidents at KM 40.1 southbound from Sedenak to Kulai and KM 434 northbound from Sungai Buaya to Bukit Beruntung. Still, the traffic situation was under control, and no lanes were blocked.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Malaysia Highway Authority (LLM) said traffic flow on East Coast Highways (LPT) 1 and 2 was smooth in both directions.
