Tengku Amir hosts high tea in UK for SAY prog

SHAH ALAM, Sept 17 — His Highness the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah recently hosted a high tea event in the United Kingdom, to raise funds for the Selangor Youth Community (SAY).

The Selangor Royal Office said the event took place at the Malaysia High Commission in London, on Thursday (September 14).

This is part of the efforts to forge new collaborations with those interested parties in contributing funds to support SAY’s programmes.

“Guests from various economic and social sectors attended the event. It represents one of the initiatives to create more dynamic opportunities for the local youth,” it said in a statement yesterday.

SAY was established to assist in developing Selangor’s youth, especially in entrepreneurship. Some of the programmes it organises include the Women Entrepreneurs League and Selangor Youth Community (SAY) Aspire.

SAY also organises various youth activities, including sports, arts and culture, and provides community services to those in need.
