SHAH ALAM, Oct 24 – The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) became the first local council in the country to launch a loyalty rewards programme for its community.
Its Deputy Mayor Cheremi Tarman said the E-Loyalty system, which is accessible via the MyMBSA mobile application, allows the public to use their accumulated loyalty points to redeem exclusive souvenirs.
“This programme is to show our gratitude to the members of the community who have been actively participating in events organised by MBSA and utilising our services.
“The rewards points will be given to the public depending on the type of event they attended. Additionally, they will earn a point for every ringgit they spend on paying taxes, permits and other bills,” he explained.
Cheremi said this after attending the ‘Hari Mesra MBSA’ event held in conjunction with the city’s 23rd anniversary celebration at the Central i-City shopping centre, today.
The public can visit www.mymbsa.gov.my/eloyalti to view the MBSA merchandise that are up for redemption and breakdown of items that qualify them for loyalty points, as well as obtain information on upcoming events for point collection.
The MyMBSA application is available for download on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Upon successful registration, users will receive 50 reward points automatically.
