Nearly RM400,000 in funds to upgrade Rawang’s Bandar Country Homes market

SHAH ALAM, Oct 10 — RM370,000 has been allocated to upgrade Bandar Country Homes’ market in Rawang for the convenience of both traders and visitors.

Its state assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat said the restoration work on the market, which is over 20 years old, will involve several improvements like replacing the roof and repainting the building’s exterior.

“Other facilities which have also been refurbished include public toilets, parking areas, and various interior assets of the building, including the construction of a new fence.

“The market needs a fresh lease of life, as it is over 20 years old, and many of its assets are somewhat aged and in need of repair,” he told SelangorKini.

With the new changes, Chua hopes the market will be convenient for both its traders and visitors to buy and sell.

“The upgrading work began this month and is expected to take three months to complete. Hopefully, it will comfort everyone who visits this market,” he said.
