SHAH ALAM, October 30 — Her Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri Selangor visited a World Animal Day 2023 exhibition at the Selangor SPCA near Ampang, yesterday.
At the programme, Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin watched an exhibition by the Fire and Rescue Department K9 dog unit.
According to a statement from the Selangor Royal Office on Facebook, Her Royal Highness also presented awards to animal lovers and witnessed the handing over of donation checks.
“His Majesty also visited the cat care room maintained by the Selangor SPCA and the exhibition stalls provided.
“Among them by the Health and Environment Department of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) related to health and the environment,” according to a statement.
Also present at the event were Ampang MP Rodziah Ismail and MPAJ chairman Dr Ani Ahmad.
