PKNS bags PorpertyGuru’s best affordable homes developer award

SHAH ALAM, Nov 27 — The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) was crowned the Best Affordable Homes Developer in the country at the recent prestigious 10th PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia. 

The development agency also bagged two other awards, namely Special Recognition in Sustainable Design and Construction, and the People’s Choice Award. 

In a Facebook post following the ceremony, PKNS said the accolades signify more than just victories for the state statutory body. 

“The (awards) mirror our steadfast dedication to sustainable practices, unwavering community satisfaction, and the creation of affordable, high-quality living spaces,” it said on Saturday. 

“Our gratitude extends to the PropertyGuru Awards for this remarkable recognition, and to each individual who has contributed to our success. 

“Together, we revel in these milestones, cherishing the acknowledgment of our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and the promotion of affordable living.” 

The annual PropertyGuru Asia Awards Malaysia, which is held in partnership with iProperty.com.my honours the country’s finest developers, celebrating the best projects, designs and innovation within the industry in the past year. 

The event is part of the regional PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series established in 2005 with a supervised judging system. 

At the recent ceremony, WCT Land Sdn Bhd won the overall Best Developer Award, while Berjaya Corporation Bhd founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan was recognised as the Malaysia Real Estate Personality of the Year.
