SHAH ALAM, Nov 26 — The state government is confident it can provide 60,000 residential units, each priced at RM250,000 and below, by 2025, said state executive councillor for housing Borhan Aman Shah.
Via the Rumah Selangorku initiative, he said it can be accomplished by collaborating with private developers who have various experiences in developing specific areas.
“The state government will continue striving to demonstrate its commitment to the people so they can afford comfortable, conducive, quality homes at a reasonable price,” said Borhan.
He was speaking during the key handover ceremony for Rumah Selangorku Pangsapuri Aurora, at Saujana Permai in Section U17 yesterday.
The councillor also presented replica keys to the homeowners, witnessed by State Government Deputy Secretary (Development) Datuk Johary Anuar and Johawaki Group deputy chief executive officer Mohamad Akmal Johari.
Rumah Selangorku Pangsapuri Aurora in Saujana Permai offers 90 residential units with a spacious area of 1,001 square feet at only RM185,000 per unit.
Featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two parking spaces, the project was developed by Johawaki Development Sdn Bhd on 2.86 acres of land.
The low-density housing, standing at five levels, is also equipped with facilities including elevators, a multipurpose hall, a kindergarten, a playground, a guardhouse, and a management office.
