Selangor Raja Muda receives honorary medal from Monaco Prince

SHAH ALAM, Nov 28 — Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah was graciously bestowed an honorary medal by Prince Albert II of Monaco during a meeting at the Istana Negara yesterday. 

His Highness was awarded the Grand Officier de l’Ordre de Saint Charles medal. 

It is an honorific title from the Order of Saint Charles, which is a dynastic order of knighthood established in Monaco and is one of the orders of chivalry awarded by its ruling monarch.

Pictures of the award presentation were shared on the Selangor Royal Office’s Facebook page last night. 

Prince Albert II is currently on a four-day official visit to Malaysia as a symbol of the strong friendship between the two countries. 

Earlier yesterday, he received a state reception at the National Palace and had an with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustaffa Billah Shah Alhaj.
