KUALA LUMPUR, —  A retired Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel was sentenced to five months jail by the Magistrate’s Court here after he pleaded guilty to two counts of drug possession in September.

Magistrate S.Mageswary meted out the sentence on Lee Beng Song, 67, and ordered him to serve the jail sentence from the date of arrest on Sept 5.

Lee was charged with possessing heroin and monoacetylmorphine weighing 1.7 grammes in Jalan Mahkota, Cheras here at 11 am on Sept 5 under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act (ADB) 1952 and punishable under Section 12 (3) of the same Act.
