SHAH ALAM, Jan 26 — A total of 4,028 job opportunities will be offered at the Selangor JobCare Carnival at Dewan Hamzah, Klang, on February 3.

State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu said the carnival jointly organised by the Social Security Organisation (Socso) will feature 27 employers offering various positions.

“This event will be better than the Selangor JobCare Carnival held in August last year.

“We are expecting more than 2,000 jobseekers, including fresh graduates, to come looking for new job opportunities,” he said when met at the state government administration building today.

According to Papparaidu, the carnival is scheduled from 9am to 5pm, and interviews will be conducted directly with the selected candidates.

He explained that there is no specific age and education level limit and participants are encouraged to register at myfuturejobs.gov.my/careerfair.

“People can also walk in directly and do not need to register. Entry is free,” he said.

Among the employers involved in the initiative are The Chicken Rice Shop, Ramly Burger, Mah Sing Healthcare, Sports Direct, 99 Speedmart and Sate Kajang Haji Samuri.
