State executive councillor for investment Ng Sze Han said Selangor has many advantages, including its proximity to major airports, a large port (Klang), highways, and the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) route.

“We also prioritise the First Selangor Plan’s (RS-1) contained plan, especially the Sabak Bernam Development Area and the Integrated Development Region In South Selangor,” he said.

The state government is also actively promoting investment industries to attract local and foreign companies to establish themselves in Selangor.

“All processes will be monitored to ensure smooth operation. If there are issues, we will try to resolve them as quickly as possible, thus ensuring the investors’ entry,” Ng said.

In November last year, the councillor said Selangor generated RM88.88 billion in investment value over the past five years, as well as approving 1,506 manufacturing projects.
