SHAH ALAM, Feb 21 — Selangor Menteri Besar (Incorporated) or MBI has called on parents seeking assistance ahead of their children’s return to school next month to apply for its back-to-school aid.

MBI social responsibility and corporate communication head Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said applications are open for a month starting yesterday until March 19.

Interested parents can apply for the RM100 assistance at their respective state assembly service centres or coordinators’ offices.

“The state assembly offices will collect the applicants’ names to be submitted to MBI for approval.

“We have set a quota of 300 recipients for each of the 56 state constituencies, with a total 16,800. The aid will be disbursed after the application deadline,” he told Selangorkini
