SHAH ALAM, April 25 — Kuala Kubu Baharu’s distinct charm and cultural heritage are among the major factors in the area’s selection as the venue for the state-level Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house on April 27.
State Deputy Secretary (Management) Datuk Mohd Yazid Sairi said the location offers a wide variety of tourist attractions, which draws visitors.
“Besides its unique charm, the area is home to many tourist attractions and significant historical values.
“Those visiting the area have the opportunity to stay overnight and explore these captivating sites for a few days,” he said this morning on Radio Television Malaysia’s (RTM) live talk show, Selamat Pagi Malaysia.
Mohd Yazid said the state administration is expecting some 25,000 visitors to attend the open house themed Riuh Raya #KitaSelangor from 8pm to 11pm.
He said the event will feature 48 stalls serving a variety of delicacies and be attended by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, state executive councillors, state government officials, and village heads.
