SHAH ALAM, May 27 — Air Selangor Sdn Bhd has completed its emergency repair works on a burst pipe along Jalan Budiman in Section 22 here that led to an unscheduled water disruption in 28 locations nearby.

Water supply is now being restored in stages to the affected areas in Shah Alam, Petaling and Klang, the state water agency said in an update this morning.

“Air Selangor would like to inform that emergency repair works along Jalan Budiman have been completed at 5.30 am today.

“Water supply is expected to be fully restored by 6 am on Tuesday,” it posted on social media today.

Air Selangor said the recovery time for the water supply in affected areas will vary depending on the distance of the users’ premises and water pressure in the distribution system.

It added that it will continue updating the public on the developments related to this incident from time to time through all mediums, especially mass media.

“Users can refer to all our official communication channels like the Air Selangor mobile application, Facebook, Instagram and X, or contact Air Selangor at 15300, or visit www.airselangor.com,” it said.

It said it will deploy water tankers to the affected areas to provide water supply assistance to users, with priority given to critical premises like health facilities.
