Police detain two for insulting Islam in relation with Haron Din’s death

SHAH ALAM, SEP 19: Two individuals were detained following their derogatory statements on Facebook related to the late PAS Spiritual Leader Datuk Dr Haron Din’s death, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

As quoted by MalaysiaKini, Khalid twittered that two individuals were detained in Perak and Selangor.
“Good job JSJK (Commercial Crime Investigation Department) @PDRM, for detaining two people; one in Ipoh and one in Shah Alam for derogatory FB posting on Islam relating to Dato Harun Din…,” he said on Twitter.
The late Dr Haron Din, 76, passed away on September 16, in Stanford University Hospital in San Francisco, US due to heart complications.
