SHAH ALAM, OCT 11: Central Spectrum Sdn Bhd (CSSB) has allocated RM272,353,00 as an initiative to help asnaf (eligible zakat recipient) own houses.
Its Chief Executive Officer, Mahmud Abbas said, it is a part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to help those in need.
He added that the initiative is implemented through home improvements and new residential unit development for that group.
“Three new houses valued at RM41,780,00 each has been allocated plus eight houses were repaired with a total cost of RM146,743.00.

“The programme certainly aims to help asnaf own houses and provide comfort to the less fortunate.
“Besides enhancing the quality of life, the programme is also implemented to help recipients and their families enhance their self-esteem when facing the community,” he said to SelangorKini.
The new houses handover ceremony was held last October 6 involving seven recipients.
CSSB is a real estate developer, a State Government’s subsidiary which developed the Selangor Halal Hub and Pulau Indah Industrial Park.
