Indians well cared, allocation increased

KLANG, OCT 16: The State Government is committed to look after the Indian community as what it has been doing since receiving administration mandate in 2008.
Poverty, Caring Government and Plantation Workers Exco, V Ganabatirau said Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin  has carried on the tradition since he started leading the state administration last three years and the same will continue in future.
“The budget for Indian worship houses has been increased from RM1 million in 2008 to RM1.7 million in 2017.
“The same goes for development and restoration of Tamil Schools, Dato’ Menteri Besar has increased the allocation from RM4 million to RM5 million,” he said.

He said that in his welcome address at the Selangor 2017 Deepavali Celebration at Jalan Tengku Kelana, Klang, last night.
He said, Selangor Government is sensitive to festivities of all races compared to other parties who are hold celebrations that more politically inclined.
Besides that, he also agreed and supported the statement issued by Malay Rulers Council recently.
Among the content was that citizens are obliged to understand and respect the main principle in the Malaysian Constitution formulated based on the understanding that this is a multi-racial and multi-religious country.
