MBSA closes Persiaran Bandaraya in conjunction with the New Year celebrations

SHAH ALAM, Dec 27 — Persiaran Bandaraya (Dataran Kemerdekaan) has been restricted by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) since yesterday until January 1 2020 in conjunction with the New Year celebrations here.

MBSA corporate and public relation division head Shahrin Ahmad said the road was closed for the preparation works of the year-end event.

“We hope the road users would avoid this road so there would be less traffic congestion.

“We hope the people would also adhere to our instructions which would be given periodically,” he said in a statement today.

MBSA advised motorists travelling in the area to plan their journey by using alternative roads and to follow traffic instructions.
