SHAH ALAM, March 17 — The Public Works Department (PWD), on Monday, had begun fixing 49 roads heading towards Port Klang in stages.
Port Klang assemblyman Azmizam Zaman Huri said the works are expected to complete in six months depending on the level of operations.
“Road users are advised to be cautious and adhere to the traffic personnel’s instructions. They should also plan their journey ahead to avoid getting caught in traffic congestion as the repairs and maintenance works are being carried out.
“The repair works are being done under the Federal government’s allocation, and it is hoped that it would benefit the road users,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Among the affected routes include the Jalan Pelabuhan Utara-Barat, Lebuhraya Pulau Indah, Jalan Pintasan Selat Klang Utara, Batu Unjur, Jalan Lingkaran Pulau Indah, Persiaran Raja Muda Musa, Jalan Susur Selari, Jalan Pelabuhan Klang-Berkeley, Jalan Pandamaran, Jalan Parang and Lingkaran Pulau Indah.
