ASNB to cease all branch operations until March 31

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 — Permodalan Nasional Bhd’s (PNB) unit trust company, Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), will be closing all its branches from 4 pm tomorrow until March 31, 2020.

In a statement today, PNB said unitholders could continue to perform transactions at ASNB’s network of appointed agents such as key banks and Pos Malaysia, or online via the myASNB portal or myASNB mobile application.

Meanwhile, transactions related to Estate Claims and Hibah Amanah could only be processed at ASNB branches and as such, will be temporarily unavailable until March 31.

“We seek the public’s understanding on this matter and will provide updates in due course.

“We call on our unitholders and all Malaysians to strictly abide by the restrictions stipulated under the Movement Control Order and stay at home as much as possible throughout this period,” it said.
