Scan SELangkah QR code before hopping on Smart Selangor Bus

SHAH ALAM, June 11 — The Smart Selangor Bus passengers are required to scan the SELangkah (Langkah Masuk Dengan Selamat) QR code provided at the bus entrance before using the public transport service, says Ng Sze Han.

The Selangor Local Government, Public Transport and New Village Development Committee chairman had advised commuters to be patient while queuing up and adhering to the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the authorities.

“Busses are allowed to carry only 20 passengers at a time. Therefore, the commuters are required to queue up and advised to not rush when taking the bus.

“The passengers are reminded to observe the social distancing rule, wear a face mask as well as maintain good hygiene when using the service,” he told SelangorKini today.

Ng also said that the busses are sanitised according to schedule and had told the public to not worry when using the transport service.

On March 24, the Smart Selangor Bus service involving 138 busses travelling along 43 routed was suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
