Biden says he will not allow to stop ballots count

WASHINGTON, Nov 7 — US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party Joe Biden said that he would not allow anyone to stop the ballots count and each vote would be counted, reported Sputnik News Agency.

“Democracy works. Your vote will be counted. I don’t care how hard people try to stop it. I will not let it happen,” Biden said in his address to the nation on late Friday.

Meanwhile, Biden has called on his followers to keep calm and patient while the ballots count in some states is still underway.

“I know tensions can be high after a tough election like we just had. But we need to remain calm, patient and let the process work out as we count all the votes,” he said.

Biden said that he had received a mandate to tackle such issues as the coronavirus pandemic, climate change and economy.

“What’s becoming clearer each hour is that a record number of Americans of all races, faiths, religions chose change over more of the same. They’ve given us a mandate for action on Covid-19, the economy, climate change, systemic racism,” he said.
