Selangor Xtiv Virtual e-Sport to kick off Dec 8, total RM46,000 cash prize

SHAH ALAM, Dec 2 — The upcoming Selangor Xtiv Virtual e-Sport (Phase 8) which will take place from December 8-31 is set to offer winners with RM46,000 in total prizes.

State executive councillor for youth and sports development Mohd Khairuddin Othman said the tournament will include PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) Mobile, Mobile Legends Bang-Bang, Call of Duty Mobile, FIFA 2021 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2021.

“Interested e-sports fans who wish to participate in the tournament can register through the web link available on the Selangor Xtiv Virtual 2020 Facebook page.

“This championship would serve as a platform for all e-sports fans to showcase their talents,” Mohd Khairuddin told SelangorKini today.

The Selangor Xtiv Virtual 2020 programme received the recognition by the National Sports Council (MSN) when Selangor became the pioneer state that succeeded in organising virtual sports tournaments in large scales, including offering of prizes.

On October 21, Mohd Khairuddin said the Selangor Xtiv Virtual will be continued next year after the inaugural programme recorded as many 178,801 participation since it was launched in May.

The tournament which has run up till its eighth phase will end on December 31.
