799,000 individuals in Selangor fully vaccinated against Covid-19 — MB

SHAH ALAM, July 24 — A total of 799,000 individuals or 16.83 per cent of the Selangor population have completed two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday.

In an infographic posted on Facebook yesterday, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari informed that 3.21 million doses were administered to the people via the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

He also informed that 2.41 million individuals or 50.8 per cent of the Selangor population have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine through PICK.

While 97,367 doses of vaccine were administered to the people in the state through the Selangor Vaccine Programme (Selvax).

On July 16, Amirudin announced that all Selangor residents who have registered will receive at least one dose of vaccine by August 1.
