SHAH ALAM, Feb 9 — Entrepreneurs in the state could now expand their business through the new schemes offered by Hijrah Selangor, says Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said the initiative introduced in October last year, represents the state government commitment to supporting businesses in Selangor.
“This year, a total of RM120 million has been allocated for the Hijrah Selangor programme to help fund the entrepreneurs. This sector is crucial in boosting the state’s economic growth.
“This trust is supported by many testimonials and success stories from Hijrah entrepreneurs,” he said on Facebook today.
According to an infographic on the new funds alongside his post, the i-Lestari scheme offers capital funding of RM51,000 to RM100,000 to entrepreneurs who are keen to expand their business.
Apart from that, the i-Agro scheme for agricultural entrepreneurs offers capital funding of RM1,000 to RM50,000.
Also available are, the i-Bermusim scheme which offers rolling capital for seasonal small traders at Ramadan bazaar, festivals bazaar and fruit stalls.

On October 27 last year, Amirudin had launched the schemes to help entrepreneurs who were affected by the pandemic recover their business.
