SHAH ALAM, May 12 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has launched the Selangor Mega Job Fair which took place at the University of Selangor (Unisel) earlier today.

Concurrently he also launched the job search portal selangorjobportal.com.my which compiles lists, jobs types and employers.

“Many have waited for this programme after it was postponed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“For 2020 and 2021, we planned it accordingly by visiting each district in Selangor,” Amirudin said when delivering his speech.

Also in attendance were state executive councillor for youth development and Unisel’s Vice-Chancellor Datuk Mohammad Redzuan Othman.

The large-scale career fair will be held physically on June 11 and June 12 at the Shah Alam City Council Convention Centre, after the country has shifted to the endemic phase.

The two-days programme offers over 20,000 jobs involving 100 companies from the services, manufacturing, electronic and management sector.
