Unisel to showcase its history during convocation

SHAH ALAM, June 9 — Universiti Selangor (Unisel) will be holding a large-scale exhibition on its history in conjunction with the university’s 15th Convocation from tomorrow to Sunday.

Unisel president and vice-chancellor Prof Dato’ Dr Mohammad Redzuan Othman said among the materials that will be put on display at its library are a collection of bulletins, robes, photos of the vice-chancellors including albums as well as books on university’s transformation and convocation ceremonies.

“The objective of this exhibition is to convey information related to Unisel and its transformation from 2016 to now for the viewing of graduates, staff, students and the public who attended the ceremony,” he said.

Earlier, Mohammad Redzuan officiated the exhibition and handed over information technology equipment to the Information and Communication Technology Centre, the Media and Digital Learning Centre and the Corporate Communications office.

Also present were the deputy vice-chancellor (Academic, Research and Industrial Networking) Prof Dr Md Sidin Ahmad Ishak and the deputy vice-chancellor (Student Development and Community Networking) Assoc Prof Dr Hamdan Mohd Salleh.
