Free health screening continues in Petaling on July 24

SHAH ALAM, July 16 — The free health screening programme Selangor Saring will continue in Petaling on July 24.

The programme, which provides early checks for chronic illnesses, will be held in conjunction with the Selangor Penyayang roadshow in the district.

The event will take place at Dataran Boulevard, Laman MBPJ (Petaling Jaya City Council) from 8am until 5.30pm.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari is scheduled to officiate the programme, which will also include other activities such as stage performances, aerobics, cooking competition, flower arrangements, traditional sports, and exhibitions.

An allocation of RM350 million is allocated to carry out the initiative so that more individuals can benefit from the state government’s programmes.

The final installation of the roadshow will be held at Padang Awam Batu Caves, Gombak on July 31.
