SHAH ALAM, July 19 — The supply of chicken, eggs and cooking oil in Selangor is sufficient and able to meet consumers’ demands, said the Selangor Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP).

In a special inspection operation today on the supply of basic materials, the ministry said no traders or sellers were found to be selling these items above the set standard pricing.

“We remind traders to always uphold good business ethics. Stern action will be taken against any who fail to comply with the law,” it said in a Facebook post.

Earlier on, Selangor KPDNHEP conducted Ops ATM (Chicken, Chicken Eggs and Cooking Oil) inspections simultaneously in several areas at Subang Jaya, Kajang and Kuala Kubu Bharu.
