SHAH ALAM, July 23 — The free health screening programme Selangor Saring will be carried out in Meru, Klang, today.
State executive councillor Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said that that the event will be held in Klang at Dewan Serbaguna Meru and Sekolah Rendah Agama Jalan Hassan.
She said the same initiative will also be running on Sunday at MBPJ Boulevard, Petaling Jaya.
“If you live near Klang and Petaling, you can undergo free health screenings at the said locations,” she said on Facebook.
The state government has allocated RM3.4 million for the success of Selangor Saring which will benefit 39,000 residents, especially individuals with a history of family medicine, obesity and unhealthy lifestyle.
The programme, which runs until September 4, offers prostate, ocular, cervical, and breast cancer screenings, as well as occult or colorectal faecal blood testing.
