Selangor Raja Muda hands over business grants to 30 OKU entrepreneurs

SHAH ALAM, Oct 13 — The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, has presented business grants to 30 entrepreneurs with disabilities (OKU).

The Selangor Royal Office on Facebook posted that the handing over of grant ceremony to the participants of the Malaysian Disabled League Programme (SAY LEAD PRO) organised by Selangor Youth Community (SAY) took place at Sunway Resort Hotel yesterday.

The grant aims to help entrepreneurs with disabilities to develop businesses in the fashion and sewing, food and retail sectors.

Meanwhile, SAY on Facebook said that the programme was also attended by Yayasan Hasanah managing director Dato’ Shahira Ahmed Bazari, Development of Persons with Disabilities Welfare Services Department director Zuhaimi Omar, Malaysian Disabled Youth Council Mohd Faiz Shuhaimi president and SAY chief executive officer Nurul Azwa Mohd Rodzi.
